Fall Festival

Our biggest annual event for the sake of Mission is our Fall Festival. It happens on a Saturday late in October. The church congregation turns out as if it were Sunday, only we are all in our work clothes, to help staff the bake sale, the craft sale, the yard sale, the moon bounce, the food stand and the silent auction!

Neighbors turn out in a big way too, perhaps just to get a taste of the Methodist Men’s Brunswick stew before it sells out! At St. Luke’s, we believe we are the only congregation with a computerized stew pot, built by a couple of engineer types in our congregation. It’s worth an early morning visit the day of Fall Festival, just to see it run!
