Mission Trips

St. Luke’s is involved in mission through our denomination. Our youth have participated in the Summer Mission Week at Lake Junaluska, helping with repairs and upkeep of ministry sites there.

Locally, we do day mission trips, including work at Pathways in Petersburg. There we have helped to clear condemned houses for renewal. Though Petersburg is under an hour away, the needs for ministry there are a world different from Chesterfield County.

One of our favorite local outreaches is to the Heart Havens home in Varina. We are becoming more involved in reaching out to its wonderful residents. We go there in service and in love.
